Washington's Whatcom County Wineries

With more than 700 wineries throughout Washington State, how do you decide which ones to visit next? One way is to think in clusters... or wine trails... or loops; plan to relax for a couple of days in the same area. Take a little time to get the feel of an area and its wine-producing culture. Whatcom County has seen considerable activity in the winemaking arena as of late. Eleven boutique wineries now can be visited along the northern-most stretch of the I-5 corridor just south of the Canadian border.
