Whatcom & Skagit County Wineries
| With more than 800
wineries throughout Washington State, how do you decide
which ones to visit next? One way is to think in
clusters... or wine trails... or wine loops; plan to relax for a
couple of days in the same area. Take a little time to
get the feel of an area and its wine-producing culture.
Whatcom County has seen considerable activity in the
winemaking arena as of late, with three additional wineries in
nearby Skagit County.
More than a dozen boutique wineries
now can be visited along the northern-most stretch of the
I-5 corridor just south of the Canadian border. Pick
up a brochure of "The Whatcom Wine & Spirits Trail" at any of
the participating wineries or distilleries.
