Holiday Centerpiece Class at Alexandria Nicole Cellars.  Create your fresh Christmas centerpiece with Jaimie from 7 Degrees Floral.  Bring 3 or 4 ornaments that go with your holiday decor or some that have sentimental value to you and Alexandria Nicole Cellars will supply everything else.  Cost is $55 for a small centerpiece and $75 for the large centerpiece.  They will start the evening off with something sparkly in your glass while Jamie demonstrates some of the many ways you can make your centerpiece standout this holiday season. Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard Tour & Hike (Red Mountain).   Meet the 2014 vintage in its infancy and follow it to harvest with guided walks through Terra Blanca’s estate vineyards.  The guided walk will showcase how grapes progress from vine to bottle.  Go behind-the-scenes to see the estate vineyard and learn about the barrel caves – the oldest and largest caves in Washington.  Tour content changes from season to season and groups are limited to 16 people per tour.  Tours cost $15, please call 509-588-6082 ext. 104 or email events@terrablanca.com for reservations. Holiday Barrel Tasting.  This annual event held the first full weekend of December is certain to inspire your holiday spirit. Amidst the festive atmosphere of the season, winemakers and cellar staff provide samples of the future releases straight from the barrel.  New releases offered include the barrel samples from the prior year’s event.  In the true spirit of the Valley, each winery participates in its own unique way offering a variety of events including art, music and more. # PAYITFORWARD For Children’s Hospital at Revelry’s Holiday Roast.  Experience the Holiday Roast at Revelry Vintners, during Walla Walla Valley’s Holiday Barrel Tasting Weekend.  The event will feature the 4th edition Aerial series release including: 2012 Weinbau Vineyard Block 19 Syrah, 2012 Weinbau Vineyard Cabernet Franc, and the 2011 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.  Each tasting will be thoughtfully paired with a variety of rustic grilled, roasted and smoked bites.  The cellar and tasting room will be decorated for the season, to inspire your holiday spirit.

Event passes can be purchased for $10 with half the proceeds donated to Seattle Children’s Pediatric Cancer Research Fund.  For every $5 donated, patrons will be given an additional event pass to share with other Barrel Weekend event goers around Walla Walla to #PAYITFORWARD.  For additional information e-mail shontina@revelrywines.com or call 509-540-5761.
