Catch the Crush. Join the Yakima Valley wineries to celebrate harvest at the Annual Catch the Crush event, October 14 and 15, 2017. Forty wineries between Yakima and Tri-Cities are participating.  Each winery offers its own celebratory events, including grape stomps, harvest and crush activities, tours, free-run juice, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and of course. . .wine tasting.  Purchase a Premier Pass allowing access to exclusive benefits available only during this event weekend.  Premier Pass holders will be able to experience a variety of specialty Catch the Crush pairings, library tastings, and tours not available to the public. Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard Tour & Hike (Red Mountain).   Meet the 2014 vintage in its infancy and follow it to harvest with guided walks through Terra Blanca’s estate vineyards.  The guided walk will showcase how grapes progress from vine to bottle.  Go behind-the-scenes to see the estate vineyard and learn about the barrel caves – the oldest and largest caves in Washington.  Tour content changes from season to season and groups are limited to 16 people per tour.  Tours cost $15, please call 509-588-6082 ext. 104 or email events@terrablanca.com for reservations.
