Ten local wineries will be sampling at least 2 of their wines along with Schilling Ciders, and juried artists showing and selling their art. There will be live music and a variety of food trucks.  Wines poured will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.

Belltown Crush Wine Party.  This is the first annual Belltown Crush Party celebrating the bounty of the harvest with wineries of Cascade Valley Wine Country (15 wineries from Lake Chelan, Leavenworth, and the Wenatchee Valley).  Sip some delicious wines, stomp some grapes, listen to fun live local bands, and nosh on treats from Belltown restaurants.  Tickets are $25 in advance. OysterFest.  Oysters, wines, microbrews, live music and so much more come together for two days every year on the first weekend in October.  Hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation and attended by thousands, OysterFest is home to the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships and is Washington State’s official seafood festival.

The festival also features a popular cook-off, hands-on water quality exhibits, and is itself a giant food pavilion with nearly 100 unique items on the menu all things oyster and seafood.  Better yet, your culinary adventure supports about 100 local non-profit service clubs and organizations, as well as funding scholarships and local community improvement projects.

Harvest Winery Tour & Scarecrow ContestSip and savor the flavors of fall, enjoy seasonal activities and marvel at nature’s vibrant palate during the Olympic Peninsula Wineries’ Harvest Wine Tour.  Seven artisan wineries located in the Peninsula towns of Chimacum, Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles will pair new and current wine releases with locally grown and prepared cuisine that celebrates the season, from pumpkin soup to hearty stews to miniature caramel apple hand-pies.  Visitors can vote for their favorite of the “wine scarecrows” that greet them at each venue, explore an onsite local marketplace, experience a winemaker dinner, enjoy an evening of jazz music and more!

In the spirit of fun, the Harvest Wine Tour is B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Glass).  Tickets for the self-guided tour are available for purchase at participating wineries for $30. Independently, each winery charges a $5 tasting fee.   Children are permitted in the tasting rooms, however visitors must be 21 years old to purchase a ticket and participate in wine tasting.  Tour-goers who get their ticket stamped at all seven wineries are eligible to enter a drawing for a wine-themed gift basket.

This street fair celebrates the agricultural heritage of Wenatchee, with a wine and food garden, a Run Wenatchee River Run, live music, kids activities and movie, harvest farmer’s market, food vendors and much more!  The Wine Garden tickets will be sold on the day of the event, and guests may purchase 8 tastes of wine for $15 with a souvenir glass, or 15 tastes of wine for $25 and 2 souvenir wine glasses. Purchase your PREMIER PASS and enjoy exclusive benefits available only during this event weekend.  PREMIER PASS holders will be able to experience a variety of specialty Catch the Crush pairings, library tastings, and tours not available to the public.

Don’t forget a jacket, a good pair of shoes as well as your favorite tasting glass.
