16th Annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival. Join the fun at CrabFest, one of the most acclaimed food festivals in the country! The festival celebrates not only the aquaculture, agriculture and maritime traditions of the breathtaking Olympic Peninsula, but brings food, art, music, Native American activities and children’s events into one spectacular 3-day event for everyone!  Located on the Port Angeles waterfront, the event celebrates the world-famous Dungeness Crab, named after the nearby village of Dungeness, and the bounty of the sea.  Featuring 14 restaurants, cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, Chowder Cook-Off, the Grab-a-Crab Derby, local wine and beer, craft and merchant vendors, live music, and many other events. Rain or shine, this is the “party” of the season and, admission, as always, is FREE! Rest assured – we have PLENTY of fresh Dungeness Crab!   Port Angeles waterfront

Oysterfest. Visitors come from far and wide every year for OysterFest. They bring family and friends to sample morsels created by professional chefs; witness the excitement of the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship trials, taste the selection of Washington State Wines or Microbrews. Young and old enjoy the Art and Photography exhibits, live touch tanks as well as the diverse variety of live music and activities. Autumn on Whidbey - Wine, Spirits & Art Tour. Celebrate harvest with the Vintners, local wine & spirits producers and local artists all weekend. See sculptures, paintings, ceramics, glass and more while you sample fine wine & spirits from Whidbey Island. Five venues - the Whidbey Island Vintners & Distillers Association. Participating venues include Holmes Harbor Cellars, Blooms Winery Tasting Room, Whidbey Island Distillery, Spoiled Dog Winery and Comforts on Whidbey Winery. Lake Chelan Crush. Experience the harvest season in Lake Chelan wine country. October in the Lake Chelan Wine Valley is gorgeous with brilliant sun, spectacular color and the smell of freshly fallen leaves. Join us in back-to-back weekends as we celebrate our annual Crush Festival. The barrel room doors swing wide open and the work in the vineyards comes to the crush pad. Come taste, stomp and dance. Watch the grapes tumble through the press and taste the raw juice that it produces. Get the inside scoop from the cellar master or winemaker on how the wine will taste come bottling time.
