Red Wine and Chocolate Weekends.  Join us February 6 & 7 and 13, 14, & 15, from 11 am - 5 pm, for these two fun weekends as each winery pairs delectable specialty chocolates with carefully selected elegant red wines. From the fullness of Cabernet to the finesse of Syrah, come see what all the excitement is about in this blissful combination.  Tickets for this self guided tour are available in advance or at the door on a first-come basis for $25. The ticket and glass package entitles you to a special commemorative wine glass, complimentary wine tasting and a delectable sample of chocolate at each winery during the Red Wine & Chocolate Weekends. Tickets are not required and each winery will charge a $5 wine tasting fee to non-ticketed guest. Get your ticket stamped at all 6 wineries and be eligible to enter our gift-basket drawing. A portion of the proceeds from these 3-day weekend programs will benefit two Washington state hunger relief organizations, Food Lifeline and Second Harvest Inland Northwest. Students will work directly with the chefs, learning both the techniques and creative process behind preparing extraordinary food. In addition, students will receive instruction from award-winning winemaker Freddy Arredondo and will have the opportunity to create their own custom wine blend. Saturday, May 82nd Annual Ellensburg Wine Festival.  The World Wine Program at Central Washington University and the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce will repeat last year's "wildly successful" first annual Ellensburg Wine Festival in downtown Ellensburg.  A day of wine tasting, musical acts and browsing of historic shops will bring new wines and guests from every corner of Washington State for another day to remember in Ellensburg.
