Bainbridge Island’s Grand Old 4th of July.  The 49th Grand Old 4th will include a Pancake Breakfast, all-day Street Fair, foot races (benefiting Bainbridge Youth Services), a Classic Car Show, Live Music, Food, Entertainment, a Beer Garden, and plenty of Family Fun—all capped off by the “Best Small Town Parade in America.” The mile-long parade always begins at 1 p.m. sharp. New this year is the “Young Artisan Marketplace”.  The 4th is on a Monday, and crab season may be open.  You can still access the public dock and boat ramp in Waterfront Park, but the presence of the Street Fair will change the options for boat trailer parking, usually available on Bjune Drive. Wine Tasting Flight at the Zoo.  Experience the Northwest’s finest boutique wines on the zoo’s picturesque North Meadow with Tasting Flight.  This is an after-hours, adults-only fundraiser event for Woodland Park Zoo.  Must be 21 or over and have valid ID for event entry.  The event includes: 10 tastings from more than 40 wineries, additional tasting tickets available for purchase, full bottles from participating wineries available for purchase (to take home), concessions available for purchase, live music, real close animal encounters, access to some award-winning animal exhibits, and glasses of wine available for purchase (to enjoy during the event).  Tasting Flight VIP Tickets also include:
early entry, souvenir wine glass, complimentary buffet, additional wine tasting, and exclusive animal encounters.  As part of Woodland Park Zoo’s commitment to sustainability including waste reduction, this is a Bring Your Own Glass event.  Event fee ranges from $30 - $80.

Kirkland Uncorked.  Visit Washington’s summer food and wine festival with over 50 wineries, wonderful food, a street fair all on the shore of Lake Washington.  The festival is split into two parts, a 21+ Tasting Garden and an all ages Street Fair.  The Tasting Garden features wine tasting, grilling demonstrations, live music, a Friday Burger Brawl and a Saturday Grill-Off.  The Street features a Boat Show, the Uncorked Market, the CityDog Dog Modeling Contest, and a Sunday Food Truck Feast. Wine on the Rock: Summer Winery Event on Bainbridge Island.  You won’t want to miss this fun summer event on beautiful Bainbridge Island.  Two days of wine, music and food at each of the seven Bainbridge Island wineries.  $30 ticket includes: special event wine glass; wine tasting at each of the seven wineries; food bites to complement the wine tasting; and live music at each winery.  Taste at all seven wineries and get entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gourmet wine basket or free wine tastings on a return visit.  Participants must be 21 and older to buy.  These wineries are very intimate, if your group is more than 6 people they suggest breaking up into smaller groups.  To purchase tickets click HERE.

Wine enthusiasts will gather to taste a variety of Northwest wines from up to 35 wineries from the Pacific Northwest. Auburn Art Walk.  Auburn’s Art Walk and Wine Tasting event is back and filled with music, local artists and art, and fine wines all supported by downtown businesses.  Auburn’s Historic Downtown will come alive with Washington artists displaying and selling their original handmade quality paintings, mosaics, and wearable art work in temporary galleries through the Main Street businesses.
 These events are free.  Wine tasting tickets can be purchased for $15 the day of the event and include 6-one (1) ounce tastes as well as a custom wine glass. Additional tastes can be purchased for $2 each.  $12 advance ticket sales will be available at local businesses one month prior to the event.

Wenatchee Food & Wine Festival.  The fifth annual Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival will assemble a panel of highly qualified industry experts to taste and determine which wines produced in the region are the best.  Judging takes place in June with the winners announced at the Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival.
 There will be unlimited food and drink from a variety of different vendors including restaurants, craft breweries, distilleries, cider distributors and wineries.  You will also have the chance to purchase wine during the event and you can take home your commemorative wine glass.  Additionally, there will be live music, a cigar bar and other fun activities to partake in throughout the night.
