Pear Blossom Pear-A-Fare & Smudge Pot Stroll.  The Pear A Fare will feature locally produced wines and brews, along with local artisan foods and specialties.  Tastes of the participating wine and brew products will be available by purchasing a souvenir glass and will include a number of complimentary tastes from vendors.  Wines, brews, foods and specialties will be available to be purchase.

The Smudge Pot Stroll is an evening event that provides the community with an opportunity to enjoy the culinary genius of local food and beverage establishments.  Patrons walk through Medford's six by six dining district to partake from participating eateries.  A winner is chosen for the best pairing, individual entree and the most popular participant.

Applegate Valley Uncorked.  All 18 wineries in the Applegate will participate in this fun, self-guided tour. You pick your starting location then visit any number of the wineries on the Trail each offering both an appetizer and a wine for tasting.  This event also provides a great opportunity to stock up on wines for gifts or parties.  You are encouraged to bring your friends, designate a driver and enjoy this great event.  Note that the food pairings provided are not meant to be “meals” and you are encouraged to visit one of the local restaurants after your tour is complete.  Designated drivers don’t need to purchase a ticket and may sample the food. Southern Oregon World of Wine (WOW).  The Southern Oregon World of Wine is the premier wine event for Southern Oregon and the premier fundraising event in support of local medical care at Asante.  The funds raised during the Southern Oregon World of Wine will go to Children’s Miracle Network and other programs supported by Asante Foundation to help ensure when your family needs them.

The event boasts wines from 50 southern Oregon wineries and offers attendees a rare opportunity to meet the faces of the area’s winemakers.  The Wine Competition will feature some of the best wines from participating wineries including tastings judged by a panel of renowned judges.  Blind tastings are done on Thursday and Friday of the event with the winning wines showcased at the Medal Dinner and Auction on Friday.

At the end of the week, participants are invited to enjoy a Grand Tasting event full of fine culinary and wine experience.  Winemakers and owners from 50-plus wineries will showcase more than 100 of the best wines unique to the region.  Enjoy musical entertainment and a silent auction.

Rogue Winterfest.  Josephine County’s largest holiday festival, Rogue Winterfest is held at Evergreen Federal Bank’s Bear Hotel. Rogue Winterfest brings the community together to help support Josephine County’s nonprofit mental health organizations: Family Solutions, Kairos, and Options for Southern Oregon.

Rogue Winterfest kicks off with the popular Gala Event and Grand Auction, which features an exciting selection of creatively decorated trees, artworks, and outdoor displays.  This year, they are again offering the Golden Social for the senior community.  Family activities take place during the Weekend Holiday Events, and the Culinary Christmas Classic brings the series of holiday events to a delicious close.

Bite of Bend.  Bite of Bend is a full weekend devoted to Central Oregon’s food and drink scene, celebrating the “Bite” of restauranteurs from all over the region. This event is free and open to the public.  Taste the “Bites,” which are small plates created by chefs just for the Bite of Bend, each plate is $1 - $2.  In addition to the great food and drink try your hand (or feet) at the “Run the Beer Run”, a race built for the Central Oregon brew scene.  Sample cocktails during The Mixology  Showcase and hear live music all weekend long.  Continue the flavor during Bite Week June 22-25, a series of hands-on classes and chefs dinners. Outpost Art Studio: Paint N’ Pinot.  Enjoy an evening of adult-only ceramic painting or glass fusing while sipping on Sunriver Resort’s exclusive Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.  They will have exclusive wine-themed ceramic pieces as well as a regular selection to be fired in their kiln.  Please keep in mind that pottery can take 3-6 days to be finished; shipping is available.  $15 for the class plus the price of the ceramic piece.
