Oregon Truffle Festival: Joriad™ North American Truffle Dog Championship.
Watch and experience some of the world’s most talented truffle dogs as they compete in the 3rd annual Joriad™ Truffle Dog Championship. The Joriad™ begins in the morning with a series of qualifying events where spectators can cheer-on the teams as they race to search for hidden truffle-scented targets. Finalists are announced at the end of the morning’s qualifying events.

The morning’s finalists will advance to the Joriad™ Field Trial the afternoon of the 26th for an authentic head-to-head and nose-to-ground action in the wild where nature alone determines location, variety, and quantity of rare Oregon truffles. Because truffle hunting in the field does not lend itself to spectator participation, this event is not open to the public, but everyone ticketed from the morning round is invited to attend the Gala Awards Ceremony in the early evening at the Hilton.

Oregon Chardonnay Celebration. The sixth annual Oregon Chardonnay Celebration educates both industry members and consumers about the varietal in a non-competitive environment. The event begins with a seated topical seminar and tasting followed by the Grand Tasting, a walk around sampling of over 40 Oregon producers, one of the region’s largest varietal-specific tastings. Attendees have a choice of participating in both the seminar and Grand Tasting or the Grand Tasting only.

Formerly known as The Oregon Chardonnay Symposium, the Oregon Chardonnay Celebration delves deep into what makes Oregon Chardonnay unique, each year focusing on different aspects of the varietal and its place in the state. Bringing together both pioneers and the current generation of Oregon producers, the Oregon Chardonnay Celebration provides a lens through which you can view the past, present, and future of Oregon Chardonnay.
