First Annual Kitchen Party.
Dubbed the 'Wine Capital of Canada', British
Columbia's South Okanagan region is alive with outstanding
wineries; many of which have teamed up to form the South
Okanagan Winery Association (SOWA). Don't miss
your opportunity to meet the faces and taste the wines
behind SOWA as they are introduced to Vancouver by Master of
Ceremonies Jurgen Gothe. Join the South Okanagan Winery
Association for their First Annual Kitchen Party in
Vancouver, BC. Wineries will be showcasing their
limited releases and specialty wines paired with nibbles and
bites from some of BC's top restaurants. Tickets to the

Festival - This year marks the 30th anniversary of the
Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival. To
celebrate Italy was invited to be the theme country. The
three words that clearly describe Italian winemaking are
tradition, passion and innovation, and those same three
words describe the Playhouse Wine Festival at this stage in
its history. It has established a tradition of innovation in
wine appreciation, one that has earned it a reputation as
the premier consumer wine show in North America. For

Blossoms - Picture a convivial citywide
Spring event with cyclists fanning across
Westside to Eastside, riding under fragrant pink
canopies of cherry blossoms. A self-guided
tour, during the Vancouver Cherry Blossom
Festival, where cyclists go at their leisure
with family, friends and visitors while
partaking of tasty food and drinks along
breathtaking routes that include delicious
eateries, and tasting or buying artisan foods
from Fraser Valley farmers. Cyclists can see
farmers’ displays, meet with them and hear their
