Big Reds at Big White. Big Reds at Big White is a celebration of Okanagan wines in an intimate atmosphere allowing you to sample cellar worthy wines, while interacting with the winemakers, in a relaxed and informal setting. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what makes these wines so uniquely Okanagan. Ticket cost $60 per person for one evening, $100 to attend both evenings. Westside Wine Trail Sip With Your Sweetheart – A Wine & Chocolate Event. Smiling sweethearts and happy wine sippers love this popular event which is held each year on the Sunday of the BC Family Day long weekend. The wineries of the Westside Wine Trail treat everyone to an afternoon of chocolate indulgence where their taste buds can savor decadent wine and chocolate pairings that have been carefully crafted and matched by local chefs, bakers and sommeliers. Big Whites at Big White. Big Whites at Big White brings together fantastic food and wine from across the Okanagan. The event is a follow up to the hugely successful event 'Big Reds'. This event showcases the best white wines produced in the Okanagan Valley and gives event goers the opportunity to taste the quality and individuality that comes from the Okanagan terroir. Chefs from the mountain will be on hand to prepare locally inspired appetizers so you can sample delectable nibbles from Big White’s delicious restaurants. The event features primarily white wines; however there are always a few red options for those who simply love their reds.
